If so, then you’ve arrived at the right place. Before investing in glasses or other eyesight treatments, it’s a good idea to take a look and see if there is anything that you can naturally do yourself to improve your eyesight. Do you stare at computer screens for long amounts of time? If you’ve noticed that you have blurry vision sometimes, or can’t always make out words from far away, you may be suffering from eye strain. Heavy usage of a computer is the most common cause of this, but it could certainly also result from things of similar nature, such as fixating your eyes on other digital objects like a TV for too long, or just having to stare at anything for long amounts of time. For example, even when reading a book, staring at the words from too close of a distance can be detrimental to your eyesight because your eyes can get accustomed to viewing things from that short range of distance. Usually the effects are temporary, so if you want to better your eyesight without glasses, correcting eye strain can certainly help you in your goal. There can also be more lasting effects from it resulting from staring at a computer monitor too closely, so it’s very important to address these issues if you want to improve your eyesight. I strongly suggest that you look for ways to combat eye strain to prevent eye damage as soon as possible.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Also, perhaps a more discreet form of eyesight impairment is smoking. Many people are unaware that smoking has temporary as well as long lasting effects on your eyesight. For example, smoking can cause irritation of the eye, resulting in blurry vision and or red eye. While these effects are temporary and should clear up if you were to quit smoking, there are unfortunately also long term effects on your eyes. Smoking has been shown to be the only proven cause of Age Related Macular Degeneration, which is an eyesight disease prevalent in the elderly. Since it’s one of the leading causes of blindness, and smoking only likens the chance of developing it, you may want to curb the habit. Smoking can be an addiction, so if you’re looking to get better eyesight without glasses and are a smoker, you should immediately try to quit smoking.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;This wraps up my first post regarding improving your eyesight naturally. In conclusion, if you’re looking to better your&lt;span style="mso-spacerun:yes"&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;eyesight and would like to attempt to do so before investing in glasses, you should make sure that you aren’t inadvertently causing damage to your eyes from eye strain or smoking. There are also other things that can hurt your eyes, but they aren’t as isolated and we’ll get into them more in later posts.
